A while ago we created the alarm module that could be integrated in to many other solutions by other companies, but also so that you can add paging to other devices. This 8 contact board can be used in fire alarms (notify the deaf on-site), security systems that notify employees when the state is changed on a contact, and we have even seen this board installed on to the 'Flying Scotsman' steam train! Other uses include coffee machines that notify staff if the contents of the machine are running low or if there is a machine fault. The list of applications is endless. Building a method of communication to staff wit this pager transmitter is a really powerful way to enhance any product that currently does not have these features.
